As a teenager, Ben developed a great passion for classic rock music as he discovered artists such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who and AC/DC. At fourteen years old, he picked up a guitar and has not looked back since. 


Ben’s music is filled with energy, driven by his powerful voice and fierce guitar style. His explosive sound harkens back to blues based 70’s rock, with a modern day indie twist.

Ben is based in Manchester and performs with his band and solo around the North West and the Midlands in the UK.

His music has been played on Radio XS (now Radio XS Manchester) as well as many other rock music stations around the UK, Europe and America.

In 2021, after the popularity of his last album, Burning Light, Ben began to release singles and EPs on various platforms. He also began tutoring after finishing his master’s in music and music theory at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Ben, the son of renowned composer Adam Gorb, has always had a strong musical influence in his life. His father's music throughout Ben's formative years has encouraged him to delve into various different styles. Songs like ‘No One Knows’ showcase Ben’s eclectic style, including folk-inspired string sections as well as classic rock-driven guitar sounds.


In 2021, Ben released ‘Talking’ a self-reflective, folk-style piece that features his talented bandmate and guitarist Jake Priestley on electric guitar.

In 2022, Ben delved into stylistic experimentation, exploring elements of progressive rock as well as his signature blues rock-based sound. In 2023, Ben wrote the song ‘Flown Away’ as a tribute to his friend and fellow musician, Ellis, who tragically passed away in 2022. The music video for Flown Away is also dedicated to Ellis and features friends and fellow musicians.
